Obituary

Timothy Ronald Kennedy, age 78 of Buckeye, AZ died March 11, 2018 in Goodyear, AZ. He was born June 10, 1939 in West Grove, PA to Spencer Blackburn Kennedy, Sr. and Eula Geraldine Parsons. He served in the US Navy from September, 1957 to March, 1962 achieving the rank of E-5 Petty Officer 2nd Class. Timothy was a tabulating machine operator for IBM. He was also a member of 626 Carpenters Union of Wilmington, Delaware.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Barbara Kennedy; daughters, Laura Kushner (Ken), Rebecca Newman, Pamela Kennedy; step-daughter Christine Watson (Scott); sons, Rodney Kennedy (Bonnie), Gregory Kennedy (Pamela), and Scott Kennedy; sister, Patricia Dolor (Alfred); 20 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Spencer B. Kennedy, Sr.; mother, Eula G. Parsons; brothers, Spencer B. Kennedy, Jr., Dave Kennedy, Gerald Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy, Benjamin Kennedy; and daughter, Dawn Arb.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ. A visitation will also be held at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024. After burial, the family will host a prepared meal at the Kennedy home. The family suggests that donations be made to the ALS Association, Arizona Chapter, 360 E. Coronado Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85004.
