Obituary

Ms.  Martha Sánchez, 73, of Tolleson, AZ, died January 23, 2015 in Scottsdale, AZ.  She was born April 7, 1941 in La Ceiba, Honduras, Centroamerica, she was the daughter of the late Fausto and Juana Sánchez. She was an accomplished seamstress for many years until her retirement.  Martha was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, mother in law and a wonderful grandmother to Urian and Leonardo. She will be greatly missed by her two daughters Martha I. Mejia of Phoenix, AZ, Claudia C. Mejia-Lisitano and husband Joseph of Tolleson, AZ, her son Mario E. Mejia Jr. and his wife Joanne of Wesley Chapel, FL, and two grandchildren Urian and Leonardo; her niece Paola Ortega and her husband, Oscar and their three children Oscar Jr, Christian and Jennifer of Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by two sisters Maria Sanchez-Jimenez and Gloria Sánchez, two brothers Carlos Sánchez and Roberto Sánchez and their loving children, all residing in Honduras, C. A. A visitation will be held from 2-3pm on Monday, January 26, 2015, followed by a funeral service from 3-4pm at Thompson Funeral Chapel.
