Obituary

Mr. Ronald C Sober, 69, of Goodyear, AZ died April 30, 2016 in Sun City West, AZ of a lengthy illness. Ron was optimistic to the end.  He always held out hope for a life after cancer, without pain.  Today, he is without pain and at peace.

Ron was a Michigan native and relocated to Arizona in 2006. He was born August 8, 1946 in Howell, Michigan to Charles and Doris Sober.

Ron is survived by his wife, Sumiko Sober; daughters, Jenny Boyd (Derek) and Kimberly Sanborn (Joel); son, Greg Osika; brother, Richard Sober (Dixie); and five grandchildren, Matthew (Grace), Noah, Grace, Faith, and Jace Michael.   He was preceded in death by his sister, Constance Lynde and his parents, Charles and Doris.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Church at Litchfield Park, 300 N Old Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 with a reception following held in the church hall.  The family suggests that donations be made to St Mary’s Food Bank or the Cancer Society.
