Obituary

Mrs. Lee Dell Curry, of Laveen Arizona died September 25, 2017 peacefully in her sleep at home with family. She was born July 30, 1926 to Humphrey and Carrie Ross in Troup, Texas. After spending her earlier years in Texas she moved to California where she met her husband, John H. Curry who served in the United States Air Force honorably. She spent several years in the workforce before retiring. Her devotion to her family and friends earned her lots of love and respect.

Lee Dell is survived by 8 grandchildren, Rodney Mosby, Cory Mosby, Jonathan Osborne, Leslie Blakeney, Kimberly Blakeney, Hayward Robinson, LaQuisha McCartey, and Curtis Cleveland, Jr.; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Humphrey and Carrie Ross; husband, John H. Curry; daughters, Lawanda Williams-Hanna and Vivian Gaskin; four brothers and three sisters. She will be forever missed and forever loved.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, with a funeral service immediately following the visitation at 12:00 pm, Monday, October 9, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ.
