Obituary

Judy Sue Gonzales, 70, of Buckeye, AZ died on July 29, 2016. She was born as Judy Sue McCardia on May 7, 1946 in Turlock, California to Delford Ray McCardia and Pearl Lucille Guth. She graduated from Rosemead High School in California.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother and sister. She leaves behind her husband of almost 31 years, Jesus Gonzales, her son Jack Douglas II, her daughter in law Susan Douglas, her Step-Daughter Lisa Gonzales, her granddaughters Morgan and Madison Douglas, her grandson Maxwell Douglas and her sister Beverly Dowdy.

She was a leader in her personal life as well as her career. She was a hardworking, dedicated employee of the John Family for over 20 years. She was the Office Manager of Desert Services International and was known affectionately as “Judge Judy” by the employees.

Her hobbies included collecting cookbooks, wind chimes, watches and magazines. She loved to shop, especially for clothes. Her pastimes included playing games on her tablet, listening to eBooks and watching TV.

Judy was caring, generous and giving to her family and friends. She loved her family and they loved her. She will be deeply missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, August 5, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ.
