Obituary
Jack D. Hogan, age 72 of Goodyear, AZ died September 19, 2017. He was born April 29, 1945 in Evanston, IL to Jack R. and Byrne Hogan. Jack is survived by his wife, Beverly Hogan; son, Sean Hogan; step-sons, Luke Boland (Nancy), Quinn Boland (Amy), Jake Boland (Elena); sisters, Pat Scott, and Jill Hogan and ten grandchildren. A memorial will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Eagle’s Nest Country Club, 3645 Clubhouse Dr, PebbleCreek, Goodyear, AZ 85395. The family suggests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Your Sayre cousins are all saddened by Jack’s passing. We appreciate all the time Jack spent with us. We wish it could have been longer.

Just heard about Jack tonight, to those of us that only knew Jack on the field, are morning the lose of man who was an amazing athlete and supportive teammate. I am truly saddened. My heart goes out to his wife and family. He will be missed.

We were saddened to hear about Jack’s sudden passing. Softball won’t be the same this year without Jack’s calming and capable presence. We were happy for him when he found the love of his life a few years ago. We send our love and hugs to Bevy and condolences to his whole family.
