Obituary

Mr. Guy R. Hoidahl, 79, of Avondale, AZ died March 24, 2015 in Avondale, AZ. He was born November 8, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Christian and Goldie Hoidahl. He served in the US Army. Guy was a member of the Tri City Ham Radio Club of Goodyear, a retired volunteer with Boy Scouts of America-Chicago Area Consul, and a former member of the Elks Club-Raceway Elks 2852. He is survived by his wife Sally; daughters Patricia, Kathy, Mary Beth; sons Roger, Gary, John, Mark, Russell; brother Dale; and grandchildren Joshua, Megan, Kayla, and Kristina. He is also survived by his adopted daughter known as “His Kid”, Mary Ruprich. He was preceded in death by his very special “daughter”, Laura. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, April 7^th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ. Family and friends will gather between 11:00 am and 11:30 am before the service.
