Obituary
Gilbert J. Nowlin, “Jack”, age 92 of Litchfield Park, AZ, formerly of Dayton, OH passed away on June 22, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born July 2, 1924 in Lawrenceburg, IN to Gilbert and Mae Nowlin. He served for four years in the US Navy aboard the USS Idaho and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was a member of the Antioch Shrine, Masonic Temple, and Scottish Rite.
Jack is survived by his wife, Marijo; daughter, Pamela Cooke; sons, Tom (Eveline), Tim and Paul (Anna) Nowlin; six grandchildren, Mandy, Mike, Marijo, Michele, Samantha, and Jack; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Vera Mae Siegel of Cleves, OH; nieces and nephews plus numerous friends and special coworkers from Walmart in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert S. and Mae Nowlin; son, Terry Nowlin; and sister, Mary Ann Geramino.

I just learned of Jack’s passing. I worked with Jack for many years at Rubbermaid and always made it a point to stop in and see him when I made my trips to Wal-Mart. I will miss my conversations with Jack, he was one of a kind. Prayers being sent to Jack’s family, especially Marijo. May it help to know that he was loved by so many. Until we meet again Jack don’t cause too much trouble up in heaven.
