Obituary

Gary L. Goodwin, age 68 of Litchfield Park, AZ went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2017 after battling a lengthy illness.

Gary was born April 8, 1949 to Leroy and Jean Goodwin. He graduated from Troy High School in 1967. He was employed with FP Case & Sons and Bardo Cox & Miller before moving to Arizona in 1979, where he just recently retired from Willmeng Construction. He loved life and lived each day to the fullest. He enjoyed BBQ’s, family get-togethers, mountain rides on the UTV, hunting, RVing , and NASCAR.

Gary is survived by his wife, Elaine Goodwin; sons, Chad of Arizona, David of Pennsylvania, and Larry of Utah; daughter, Linda (Andrew) McNew of Texas; four grandsons; one brother, William (Terri) Goodwin of Colorado; brother-in-law, Mark (Tami) Kinner of Colorado; very good family friend, Kathy Lynn Nicholas; several nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; and his faithful, companion and best buddy, “Gidget.” He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Jean Goodwin.

Services will be private and held at the family’s convenience. The family suggests that donations be made to West Valley Baptist Church in Buckeye, AZ.
