Obituary

Fred Call, age 81 of Goodyear, AZ passed away October 11, 2017. He was born April 23, 1936 in Rigby, Idaho to Cyril Josiah Call and Mary LaVern Barker Call.

Fred received a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Arizona. He taught math, science and computer classes for 40 years in various high schools mainly in New Zealand and Arizona. He was an Eagle Scout and a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Fred is survived by his wife, Karen Call; daughters, Maria Livingston, Laura Berry, Tanya Molina and Cheryl Gibson; son, David Call; sisters, Nona Hunter and Barbara Brown; brother, Brent Call ; 23 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Audra Moss.

A visitation will be held at 12:30 pm with a funeral service immediately following the visitation at 2 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the LDS Chapel, 425 S. Estrella Parkway, Goodyear, AZ.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, 2300 W. VanBuren Street, Phoenix, AZ.
