Obituary
Mr. Joe E. Flores, 87, of Tolleson, AZ died April 1, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born January 22, 1928 in Tolleson, AZ to Jose and Delfina Flores. He served in the US Army. Joe is survived by his daughter Gloria Flores, sons Joe L., Larry G., Richard L., Frank, and Michael A. Flores. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Lupe Flores and his grandson Michael “Mikey” Flores Jr. A vigil will be held at 5:30 pm, rosary at 6:30 pm, on Wednesday, April 8th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 9th at St. John Vianney Parish, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd, Goodyear, AZ. Burial will follow in procession to Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 7844 N. 61st Ave., Glendale, AZ.

Our most sincere condolences from the Pineda’s to the Flores family. May you all have spiritual strength during this period of loss of your Dad. I am personally sorry that I did not stop by to visit Joe, while I was last in Tolleson. As sad as it is to hear of your Dad’s passing I can’t help but think of how much he and the rest of you were a part of my life growing up in Tolleson. I will miss your Dad but knowing he is resting in peace is a blessing. Always a friend, Alfonso.
