Obituary

Donald Charles Westergaard of Goodyear, AZ died February 11, 2017 at the age of 87.

He was born October 19, 1929 to Eben and Lillie Westergaard at home in Viborg, SD. Donald was married to his wife of 58 years, Joyce Westergaard. They had three children together and lived a memorable life in South Dakota, California, Washington and Arizona.

Donald is survived by daughter, Diane Jones and husband Larry; daughter, Linda Westergaard; son, Dr. Greg Westergaard and wife Clara; three grandchildren, Melinda Livingston and husband Tim, Lily and Xavier Westergaard; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Daisy; nieces, nephews, cousins, Kella, extended family, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; parents, Eben and Lillie Westergaard; and brothers, Gary and Murray Westergaard.

A memorial service is planned in Viborg, South Dakota at Fraternal Burial Association at a later date.
