Obituary

Dolores (Dee) Diane Murray, age 75 of Goodyear, AZ died October 20, 2017. She was born August 26, 1942 in Chicago, IL to George Duhr and Louise Girard. At the age of 11, Dee was orphaned along with three of her younger brothers. In her late teens she worked in downtown Chicago and would take her brothers out of the orphanage every Sunday and go to dinner. Throughout life she kept the family together. She was beautiful, kind, strong, independent and the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend! She never knew a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.  She shared a strong bond with her daughter and grandson like no other. She was also a great animal lover and leaves behind four fur babies.

Dee is survived by her husband, James (Jim) Murray; daughter, Barb (Brian) Spitzock; sons, Michael Murray and Patrick (Kim) Murray; brothers, Tom, Richie, and Harry Duhr; and two grandchildren, Lucas Spitzock and Jaquelyn Marie. She was preceded in death by her brother Matt Benson.
