Obituary

Carmen G. Valenzuela, 88, died May 9, 2016 in Goodyear, AZ of heart disease. She was born July 19, 1927 to Jose Gradillas and Dominga Martinez in Alhambra, AZ. Carmen is survived by her husband, Luis; daughters, Rosa L Bustamante, Margarita Martinez, Gloria Valenzuela; sons, Rafael, Humberto and Miguel; sisters, Lucila Celaya, Maria Valenzuela, Adela Najera and Luz A Ontiveros; 36 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 5:30 pm with a rosary at 6:30 pm, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ. Mass will be at 11:00 am Friday, May 13, 2016 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E La Pasada Blvd, Goodyear, AZ.  Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Goodyear Farms Historic Cemetery, 3625 N 127th Dr, Avondale, AZ.
