  1. Bucky, Bob, Brad, and all family:

So sorry to hear about Sylvia’s passing. I know how much you miss her and pray that God will bring you comfort.

You shouldn’t pick favorites with aunts, but Aunt Sylvia was always such a wonderful role model for me. She was kind, loving, interested, wise, and fun. She was one of the sweetest people in my life. And Bucky, your marriage with Sylvia was a wonderful example that made a deep impression on me during my earlier years, and certainly helped mold my own relationship with Deon.

As is far too often the case, I regret not having stayed in closer contact with you and Sylvia … and Bob and Brad. And I am sorry to miss Sylvia’s service. Please know, however, that I have a deep understanding of loss and my heartfelt thoughts are with you.

    With love,
    Tony and Deon
