Obituary

Stanley John Aksamit Jr., 75, of Goodyear, AZ died August 12, 2015 in Goodyear, AZ of Leukemia. He was born March 6, 1940 in Cicero, Illinois to Stanley and Tillie Aksamit. He served in the US Army from 12/10/1964 to 06/25/1965 as a SP4 E-4(T). Stanley loved cars and car shows. He was a handyman and loved woodworking. He was in the first cavalry in the army in Korea. Stanley adored his 5 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Audrey Aksamit; daughters Tracy (Trent) Lucht, Karie (Kirk) Tepper; and 5 grandchildren, Bryn Lucht, Eli Lucht, Logan Tepper, Emerson Tepper and Payton Tepper. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley, mother Tillie, first wife Paulette, and brother Gerry. Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, August 15^th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd in Goodyear, AZ.
